Next Meeting: The date of our next meeting is Saturday October 11 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 2560 Villa Ave. on the near southeast side of Indianapolis. The church is on the southwest corner of Walker Ave. and Villa Ave. Exit I-65 at Raymond St. south or Keystone Ave. to Walker. Jason Lambert will provide an extended trip report railfanning in Nebraska, Illinois, and Iowa.

During October	Indiana Historical Society History Train Presents “Faces of the Civil War” Sponsored by The Indiana Rail Road Open Thursday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Group visits can be scheduled by calling (800)447-1830. The tour is free, but space is limited. October 2-4:Sullivan, October 9-11 Bargersville, October 16-18 New Castle, October 23-25 Evansville.
October 18 - 19	The Great Train Show Expo, Indiana State Fairgrounds
October 25	28^th Annual Railroadiana Show & Sale, Family Life Center at Post Road Christian Church, 1112 North Post Road 1 mile south of Exit 91 I-70, 9 AM – 2 PM, Regular Admission: $6.00 ( 15 and younger free with paid admission ).
November 8	Indianapolis S Show, all S scale model railroad show and meet, Carmel Lions Clubhouse, 141 East Main Street, Carmel IN, 10 AM to 3 PM, admission $5 per person, children 15 and under free with paying adult.
November 29	Indy-Greenwood Train Show, Greenwood Knights of Columbus, 695 Pushville Road, Greenwood IN, 10 AM to 3 PM, admission $3, children free.
December 13	The Indianapolis Model Railroad Train Show & Open House, Manual High School Gymnasium 2405 S. Madison Ave, Indianapolis IN, admission $5 children under 6 free, 10 AM to 3 PM
