Grace Baptist Church is a local, fundamental, Independent Baptist Church. The church, like any good business or institution is led by a leader of men. Dr. W. Collins Glenn, a man called of God to preach and teach the Bible, was called by Grace Baptist Church in 1967 to assume that position of leadership.

Mrs. Duriene Glenn & Dr. W. Collins Glenn, Pastor

Under his ministry, the church has been blessed well beyond beginning expectations. The Lord has given this Pastor wisdom, maturity, insight, love and compassion ... as well as a tireless zeal for soul-winning. He is an inspiration to all who have come under his preaching, as well as those knowing him personally. His staunch Biblical leadership coupled with a congregation obedient to God's Word has been blessed of God with a program of multiple ministries meeting the needs of all ages. Through this ministry God has changed hearts, enriched lives, and bestowed blessings that will last for eternity.

  • Inspiration of the Scriptures. We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible, eternal and final word of God to man and is therefore authoritative and sufficient in its message.
  • Absolute Religious Freedom. We believe that every man should be free to worship as he will, and not forced to worship if he does not so desire.
  • The Absolute Lordship of Christ. We recognize civil authority and obey the laws of the land. Scripture teaches this is right. But in the realm of religion we recognize not man's authority over us, for Christ and Christ alone is our Lord.
  • The Bible to be the One Rule of Faith and Practice. (1) We have no creed, save the Bible. (2) As a result of our reading and study of this Word of God, we have come to certain outstanding conclusions: (a) A regenerate church membership; (b) Believer's baptism; (c) The two ordinances (Baptism and the Lord's Supper) are not sacraments but symbols which we participate in for the purpose of publicly identifying ourselves with Christ and His church and to remind ourselves of our privileges as children of God.
  • The Individual Right to Approach God for Himself. (1) "There is one Mediator between man and God, the Man, Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5); (2) Every individual must stand before God alone without human props.
  • The Independence of the Local Church. Every Baptist Church is independent and governs itself under the guidance of God.
  • The Equality of Believers. Christ is the Head and Lord of His Church. All of His ministers are servants and equal in rank.

Each of the four regular services has a distinct purpose in the building of the Christian. You have an opportunity to learn from God's Word, to worship Him, to see souls saved and to grow in your Christian walk. There are study and fellowship opportunities throughout the week for all ages designed to meet all needs. From the Gospel Force for children ages 3 through 6th grade to the 4-8 year olds Sunday Evening class toYouth Chapel for teenages to Higher Ground Ministry on the campus of Ball State University and Taylor University to Caleb's Kin Ministry for Seniors, there is something for every member of the family. Grace Baptist offers a free nursery for babies and toddlers during all four services. Our bus ministry reaches out to the Delaware County community through dedicated workers who volunteer their time every Sunday morning to bring people of all ages to Grace Baptist Church in order to hear God's Word.
