The Dunn Family Mike, Anita, Luke Caleb and Michaela		Our Call    Mike was born in Detroit, Michigan, Michigan. When he was five years old his family started going to church and accepted Christ. After his first day of seventh grade in a Christian school, he came home and accepted Christ at his bedside with his sister. He was later baptized.     After God called him to preach in high school, he went to college to study for the ministry. During his freshman year God touched his heart for the mission field. After his junior year, he met Anita.	Anita was brought up in a pastor's home and attended church from birth. At four years old she accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized.     She was privileged to attend a Christian school all of her life. After graduating from college, Mike and Anita were married.     God continued to prepare them with two years of teaching school in Puerto Rico and eight years of youth pastoring in Indiana.     Now the door has opened and God has called them to Brazil as missionaries.

(4 years) Pastor's Wife, Grace Baptist Church (8 years) Youth Sunday School Teacher Ladies' Speaker Mother of Three		Our Field Size 3,286,000 square miles; larger than the continental United States Bordering Countries French Guiana, Surinam, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay Population 146 million; 160 people per square mile in urban area, 1 per square mile in Amazon region People Great blend of Indian, European, African and Asian stock Language Portuguese is the official language, but many inner-city people speak Italian, German, French, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Japanese, Korean, and other languages Government Federative Republic; new constitution was established in 1988; system has executive, legislative and judicial branches; high offices are President, Vice-President, and Cabinet; many political parties exist, which causes instability from time to time Religion 89% ar Catholic and only 10% of those practice their faith (the others are hungry and openly searching for the truth); 6% are Protestants and those numbers are rapidly growing; 3% are Spiritists or partake in other cults and trends	Our Need 1.
