If you are looking for a family name try the site search first. If the search is not able to find the name you're looking for, try going through the pages of the Custom Passenger List. I scanned the pages of the passenger list instead of trying to transcribe it because I didn't want to make the mistake of misinterpreting the hard to read handwriting. If you can't find the names you are looking for that doesn't mean they weren't on board. I haven't found my family on the list. But, my Great -Great Granduncles' letter to his parents details the events on the England. The list is not as complete as other lists I've seen. Countries are listed as England, Ireland, and Alien. All have "The Country in which they intend to become Inhabitants" as United States. There are no checks in the died column. If you are interested in a page of the list I can e-mail you a larger graphic. Please let me know if your ancestors were passengers on the S.S. England at any time.
