Jess and Shane are a multitalented couple who help us in many ways. From transporting injured animals to helping at events and photography, they're the best! Even with Shane's graphics art and photography business, and Jess' schoolwork, they still can be called upon to help anytime. We are really lucky to have their help and support with our work!

One of our UTOPIA resident animals is not actual wildlife, but was brought to us by Animal Control after he was found as a fawn in a neglected state. Ichi is a Japanese Sika Deer, and because he is a domestic species, is not releasable. Here he greets Nanette Howard, one of our volunteers.
