Bizarro's

Introduction |
Hiya. This is a little page of mine where I plan to post some Palladium Games stuff, some comic book stuff, some videogame stuff, and some other general stuff. If you don't know what Palladium Games is, click the link to go to Palladium's website. |

New!
Well...it seems that the rumor about the Kingdom Come TV
mini-series was false. Oops. I guess that's what I get
for listening to rumors. But you have to admit, it
could've been cool. <g> |

New!
Ok don't mind me...I'm not really updating much this
time. However, some news and other some general things of
interest to pass along. First off, I saw the X-Files
movie Friday. It was a pretty good movie, but it's not
one of my favorites. It felt like a 2-hour long TV
episode (you can decide if that's good or bad), and I got
the feeling that Mulder and Scully didn't really even
accomplish anything the entire movie. Didn't fit with the
season cliffhanger at all, either. Kingdom Come? (Warner Bros.): This sounds a bit too good and ambitious to be true (then again this is Warner 'In desperate need of a hit' Brothers). Nevertheless,'J'onn J'onzz, Manhunter from Mars' has heard that the studio intends to bring in the new millenium with a four-hour mini-series adaption of "Kingdom Come", a 4-issue comic book series of the same name. That series was set in an apocalyptic future where young superheroes no longer fight for the American people but amongst each other. Superman and various other superheroes return to stop them, but face opposition from their old ally Batman. If true (which I kind of doubt), this could explain both the 'Clooney is staying' and the 'Kurt Russell is Batman' rumours. This is supposedly in the vein of the other multi-million dollar mini-series like "The Odyssey" and "Merlin" which NBC has had huge success with. Whether it will go ahead or not, we will have to wait and see. Sounds pretty good to me, although I'd prefer an animated mini-series a la Superman: TAS, personally. |
Other Parts of My Web Site:
Comics (part of my site dedicated to comic books, with related links)
TV Shows (part of my site dedicated to the magic box...too bad the magic box isn't that high on my good list right now...Silver Surfer was cancelled!!! And over money! Now there really isn't much on Fox anymore.)
Bizarro NPC (myself converted to Palladium's game)
BS Smooth Talking and BS Writing (two new skills for Palladium's game)
Yoeman Amerigo (a conversion of Captain America for the PFRPG)
VideoGames -- Still Under Construction (the magic words of the 'net!)
Here are the RPGs I
currenlty own or play, in order of my favorites:
Note: I may start posting some reviews of
the game books listed below. If I do, they should be up within
the month.
Heroes Unlimited 2nd Edition -- Update of Revised HU. haven't really gotten a chance to read it thoroughly, but it looks really good. Skraypers, a source book for Rifts and HU2, is very well written and has fantastic art from John Zeleznik. Tarlok, baby, yeah!
Palladium Fantasy RPG 2nd Edition -- Very good fantasy RPG. I need to buy Monsters & Animals and Dragons & Gods, though.
Robotech RPG -- Robotech can be seen on the Cartoon Network. I used to love this RPG, but lately it's been moving down on my list due to the low variety of player characters.
Rifts -- Nice idea, but lately everything has become overly munchkin (superpowered with a lack of focus on roleplaying, for those unfamiliar with the term).
And at the very bottom, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (ick)
If you got here by accident, here are some links to other sites so you can escape as quickly as possible. (Save yourself!)
