How to Play the Game

After loading all of the card images, the game displays five cards, followed by your current dollar winnings (you start with $100), and a Continue button. It also displays directions for playing the game in your browser's status bar. Each play of the game costs one dollar. You'll either lose that dollar or win one of the following dollar amounts:

To play the game, click the cards you want to discard. The discarded cards are replaced with green blocks. Click Continue when you are finished discarding. The green blocks (discarded cards) are then replaced with new cards, while the other cards remain. When you've received your replacement cards, your hand will be evaluated, and you'll either lose $1 or receive an amount from the above table. The text field is updated to reflect your winnings and losses. Click Continue to play another round of the game.
