Ever thought about a home security system or a car alarm, but were put off by the long-term contract or monthly fees? Now through this special Internet-only offer, you too can have the peace of mind that a home security system or car alarm offers for the cost of a couple of sheets of glossy inkjet or photo paper ,some laminating sheets and a glue stick.
Note: This page will automatically scroll by itself, but you also still can scroll manually.
How To Do It
When you click on the links below, you'll go to one of
three sets of four "security sticker" images". With that page open in your browser, just print the page, setting your printer options as follows: 1. Print on either glossy inkjet paper or inkjet photo paper 2. Select that type of paper in your printer options dialogue box 3.Follow the instructions on the glossy paper box on how to load the paper in your printer-usually with the glossy (print side) face down in most inkjet printers.
After printing the images and cutting them out, you'll need to coat them before gluing them to your window, as the ink will eventually bleed on to the window otherwise. You can either spray them with "matte finish" clear coat spray ( available at hardware stores), or preferably apply " laminating sheets" ( available at office supply stores, real cheap ) to both sides. Either method "seals" the ink so window condensation doesn't bleed the ink.
If you've actually read this far without laughing at this idea, you're ready to glue them to your window or door glass. Apply glue ( preferably a glue stick that uses "removable glue" ) to the front ( or printed ) side and place on the inside glass, facing out, of course (duh!). This way you can remove them at a moment's notice to avoid unnecessary ridicule from " non-believers"!!.
